I thought it was time to lighten things up. Here is a picture of Jake happy as a clam 4 months after surgery. He’s a pawsitive little guy!
My next couple of posts will show Jake in the early days after surgery.

HELP!! my cat is 14 yrs old and a month post op of a front arm amputation.
She is depressed and has regressed. Doesnt move. VERY little walking (crawling). She wont even TRY now. I’m afraid she has no quality of life. What can i do to get her to try? No interest in catnip, toys or the litter box. She will pee on the pads in front of the box. She will poop where she lays.
Hi Barbara. I am so sorry! Was she fine up to now? The Chat feature is great for getting quick responses from the owners of this site who have more experience than I with this. Try the chat feature and type in a question. If no response, then they are not there but will return. I’ll try to get some help for you also. Hang tight.
Awww that is such a sweet photo of Jake! He’s a perfect example of lovin’ life on 3!
Barbara, please call your vet and let them know what’s going on, and visit our Discussion Forums so we can help you better.
What a happy face. Glad to see he’s loving life ! We’ve a tripawd rescue dog and it slows her down not one bit. We’d be in bid trouble if she had 4 legs 😉
