One last post before we get into Jake’s cancer diagnosis. Here is Jake on a hot summer day living the life! His smile says it all 😆

It didn’t take long for the two to bond. Jake was fine off leash and stayed close by (mostly). We have lots of wood trails to romp.

One night I went into the living room to find Jake in his brother’s bed!

I decided to blog Jakes journey.  This is my favorite picture of him on a mountaintop by our house.  This was taken about 8 months after getting him.  It’ll be fun to chronicle his story.  He keeps us on our toes and brings us lots of joy 🙂

• We got Jake from a shelter in NH.  We got him in February of 2018.  Our dog Oscar needed a friend and Jake needed a friend and a forever home!  He came from Arkansas and was 1 year old.  We know nothing of his first year.  But we knew that he was cute and needed lots of love and care..  He was 20 pounds underweight and rather timid .
